Our Philosophy
Our Mission
At Taylors Lakes Dental House, your comfort sits at the centre of how we work.
We know a dental visit is not something most people look forward to. Some patients walk in carrying a difficult experience from years ago that has never quite left them. Others feel a quiet worry that the pain they are in will get worse the moment we start. Some are simply embarrassed by how long it has been since their last visit.
Wherever you are on that spectrum, we understand. There is no judgement here.
Dr Fong Yong built the Dental House Group around a single principle: dental care should be delivered around the patient, not the other way around. That thinking runs through every practice under the group.
At Taylors Lakes, that philosophy is led by Dr Tania Phan, working alongside Dr Warren Antonoff. Between them, they carry the same patient-first approach into every appointment.
So come in when you are ready. Whatever you are feeling, we will meet you where you are.
Compassionate Dentistry
Modern equipment used well keeps the appointment as short and as comfortable as possible.
Pain is the single biggest reason patients avoid the dentist. Our team assesses the situation properly, then walks you through the options for keeping the visit manageable.
That includes local anaesthesia and sedation where suitable. Most treatment sits well inside standard local anaesthesia. Some cases benefit from something more.
Either way, we explain what to expect before we begin. If you are already in pain, the earlier you come in, the sooner we can help sort it out.

Children’s Dentistry
Kids do best when the dentist is not a stranger.
Regular short visits from an early age make the check-up feel like a normal part of life, not something to work up to.
Our paediatric care covers everything from first-tooth visits through to Invisalign® and orthodontics for older children. Brushing habits, diet advice, catching developing issues while they are still easy to address, all part of the same conversation.
Making the visit a good one is the point. The rest follows from there.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Our team invests in ongoing training. More than 300 hours a year of continued professional development across the group, covering digital smile design, implants, clear aligners, and other cosmetic techniques.
The aim is straightforward: current, evidence-based care using techniques we have kept up with.
Every cosmetic case starts with an honest conversation about what is achievable, what the trade-offs are, and whether treatment is the right call at all.

Challenges
Cosmetic Concerns
Discolouration, uneven shape, alignment? We work through the cosmetic options that suit your case, with no pressure to overcommit.
Missing Teeth
Missing teeth affect chewing, speaking, and the bone underneath over time. Options range from a single implant to a full-arch replacement.
Crooked Teeth
Crowding, spacing, or a bite that does not sit right? Orthodontic treatment with Invisalign® or fixed braces moves teeth into a planned position.
Broken Teeth
A chipped, cracked, or damaged tooth needs attention before it gets worse. We match the repair to the level of damage, from a filling up to a crown.
Sore Tooth, Gum or Jaw
Dental pain rarely settles on its own. Come in for a proper assessment so we can find out what is going on and what the right next step is.
Preventative Care
Extended hours, agreements with major health funds, and a straightforward approach to routine care make it easier to stay on top of things.
